Sec. 31-356. Short title: Full Employment Act of 1972. This chapter may be cited as the “Full Employment Act of 1972”.

Sec. 31-357. Statement of policy. It is the continuing policy and responsibility of the state government to use all practicable means consistent with its needs and obligations and other essential considerations of state policy, with the assistance and cooperation of industry, agriculture, labor and local governments, to coordinate and utilize its plans, functions and resources for the purpose of creating and maintaining, in a manner calculated to foster and promote free competitive enterprise and the general welfare, conditions under which there shall be afforded useful employment opportunities, including self-employment, for those able, willing and seeking to work, and to promote maximum good quality employment, production and purchasing power.

Sec. 31-362. Governor to report to General Assembly. Section 31-362 is repealed, effective October 1, 2017.
