An Act Concerning Information Obtained by Multidisciplinary Teams.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Subsection (g) of section 17a-106a of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:

(g) Each multidisciplinary team shall maintain records of meetings that include, but are not limited to, the name of the alleged victim and perpetrator, the names of the members of the multidisciplinary team and their positions, the decision or recommendation of the team [, all information required to render a decision] and support services provided. [Such information shall be provided to all counsel of record in] In any proceeding to gain access to such records or testimony concerning matters discussed at a meeting, the privileges from disclosure applicable to the information provided by each of the participants at the meeting shall apply to all participants.

Sec. 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1999.
