Provision of Selected Services for Clients with Intellectual
Disabilities
This study compared the cost of providing public and private services (residential and day) to individuals with intellectual disabilities, who are clients of the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and receive 24-hour care in community or institutional settings, to determine the most cost-effective means to deliver those services.

Status

The staff findings and recommendations report was presented to the committee at its December 20, 2011 meeting. The committee approved the report in January 2012.
