Security Technicians
General Knowledge:
The State Capitol Police Department is seeking applications for part-time openings (20 hours a week or less) for the security technician positions. An eligibility list will be developed and utilized also as future positions become available. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and possess a high school diploma or GED. The pay ranges from $21.09 -$30.66, depending on experience.
Required Skills and Ability:
Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in sworn law enforcement, corrections, full-time professional fire service or military service. The hours vary by shift. The selection process will consist of a resume review, oral interviews, and a thorough background investigation. Applicants must possess a valid M.V. operator's license.
