Tours for the Capitol Complex begin at the Legislative Office Building located at 300 Capitol Avenue.

Self-Guided Tours are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Self-Guided Tour booklets are available.

Closed for all State Holidays, the day after Thanksgiving and December 24 through January 1.

Red Star Tours may be subject to change. Please call (860) 240-0222 for current schedule.

The Capitol and Legislative Office Buildings are closed on the weekends.

  Group Reservations   Parking

Group reservations may be made by calling (860) 240-0222 weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or by using the on-line request form under "Request a Tour". Student groups must be 3rd Grade or above; see Guidelines.

Limited free parking is available in the Legislative Office Building parking garage (Monday to Friday) and on the north Capitol grounds.

The publication How A Bill Becomes A Law In Connecticutwill be provided to all tour participants. Other brochures, such as: State of Connecticut Sites, Seals, Symbols and Connecticut: A Guide to State Government(pdf), will be distributed one per class. These are provided free of charge.
