AN ACT CONCERNING THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION SERVICES REGARDING EMERGENCY MEDICATION.
To allow a hospital to administer emergency medication to a patient who is a defendant placed in the custody of the Commissioner of Mental Health and Addiction Services without consent if obtaining consent would cause a medically harmful delay.
