AN ACT CONCERNING THE UNAUTHORIZED PRACTICE OF LAW AND THE PREVENTION OF FALSE LONG-TERM CARE LEGAL PLANNING AND ADVISEMENT.

To (1) redefine the unauthorized practice of law, particularly in the area of elder law and Medicaid eligibility law, and (2) enact consumer protections for individuals seeking advice on Medicaid eligibility.
