AN ACT CONCERNING REIMBURSEMENT OF OUT-OF-NETWORK HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS AND LIABILITY FOR CERTAIN UNLAWFUL BILLING AND COLLECTION PRACTICES.

To: (1) Require a health carrier to reimburse an out-of-network health care provider for certain health care services; (2) increase the amount of said reimbursements; and (3) change a health care provider's liability for certain unlawful billing and collection practices under the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act.
