AN ACT CONCERNING REVISIONS TO THE COMMON INTEREST OWNERSHIP ACT.

To: (1) Ensure transparency in the voting processes utilized by a common interest ownership community, (2) provide greater flexibility to a common interest ownership community relating to prescribed voting methods, (3) include information relating to an audit of an association in a resale certificate, (4) increase the penalty for a community association manager who operates without a certificate of registration, and (5) make other technical changes to the Common Interest Ownership Act.
