AN ACT CONCERNING COST-SHARING UNDER HEALTH INSURANCE POLICIES.

To provide that no health carrier that delivers, issues for delivery, renews, amends or continues a health insurance policy in this state shall charge an insured for a coinsurance, copayment, deductible or other out-of-pocket expense for a covered benefit in an amount that exceeds the amount that the insured would have paid for the covered benefit without regard to such policy.
