AN ACT ALLOWING A POLICE OFFICER TO TAKE CERTAIN PERSONS INTO CUSTODY FOR AN EMERGENCY EXAMINATION.
To allow a police officer to take a person into custody when the officer has reasonable cause to believe such person suffered from an opioid drug overdose that necessitates emergency medical intervention.
