AN ACT CONCERNING CERTAIN COMMERCIAL FISHERY LICENSURE REFORMS.

To reform commercial fishery statutes by providing for greater opportunities for commercial fishermen to fish and operate profitable businesses in this state while instituting certain sustainable management frameworks for such fisheries, clarifying license transfer provisions and enabling new commercial fishermen to gain access to certain licensure.
