AN ACT CONCERNING THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE KNOWLEDGE TEST IN ADDITIONAL LANGUAGES, THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATION AND THE USE OF A TRANSLATOR DURING THE ON-THE-ROAD SKILLS TEST.
To (1) require the written knowledge test for a motor vehicle operator's license to be administered in additional languages; (2) require the instruction manual for motor vehicle operation to be available in such additional languages; and (3) permit a non-English-speaking applicant to use a translator during the on-the-road skills test.
