AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES UNDER THE STATE EMPLOYEE HEALTH PLAN.
To (1) allow any municipal employee, including, but not limited to, teachers, to participate in the state employee health plan, while maintaining the decision-making power of local collective bargaining units; and (2) require that the state provide to municipal employers transparent communication regarding costs to municipal employees who choose to participate in the state employee health plan.
