AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC UTILITIES REGULATORY AUTHORITY TO DESIGNATE ELIGIBLE TELECOMMUNICATIONS CARRIERS FOR THE PURPOSES OF FEDERAL LIFELINE SERVICE BENEFITS.
To permit the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority to designate any provider or reseller of commercial radio or cellular telephone service as an eligible telecommunications carrier for purposes of providing federal Lifeline service benefits.
