AN ACT REPEALING THE REQUIREMENT THAT SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS PASS AN ADDITIONAL READING EXAMINATION.

To address issues of special education teacher shortages in urban school districts by repealing the requirement that special education teachers pass an additional reading examination.
