AN ACT CONCERNING THE DATE ON WHICH A CHILD MUST TURN FIVE YEARS OLD IN ORDER TO ENROLL IN KINDERGARTEN.
To provide a more consistent and appropriate cut-off date for kindergarten enrollment so that children are more prepared and ready to start school.
