AN ACT ENABLING MUNICIPALITIES TO PURSUE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENTS AND SERVICE SHARING CONTRACTS.

To provide that (1) interlocal agreements and service sharing contracts between two or more municipalities shall be valid notwithstanding conflicting provisions of any participating municipality's charter or municipal ordinances; and (2) municipalities shall, when possible, amend such municipalities' charters to eliminate references to specific organizational structures.
