AN ACT EXPANDING REQUIRED HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR PREEXISTING CONDITIONS.

To redefine "preexisting conditions provision" to include preexisting conditions regardless of whether medical advice, diagnosis, care or treatment was recommended or received for such conditions prior to the effective date of coverage under a health insurance policy, and require short-term insurance policies to include the same preexisting conditions provision as other individual and group health insurance policies.
