AN ACT CONCERNING CAREGIVERS, QUALIFYING PATIENTS AND THE PALLIATIVE USE OF CANNABIS.
To, for purposes of the state's palliative-use cannabis market, (1) define and redefine certain terms, (2) authorize qualifying patients and medical cannabis caregivers to engage in additional cultivation activities, (3) cap certain cannabis testing laboratory fees, (4) provide additional anti-discrimination protections to qualifying patients and caregivers, (5) modify the Department of Consumer Protection's enforcement powers and the duration and terms of qualifying patient registration certificates, and (6) modify, and establish new, penalties.
