AN ACT CONCERNING THE EXPANSION OF PASSENGER TRAIN AND GROUND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES IN EASTERN CONNECTICUT.

To improve transportation options, support economic development and transit-oriented development, relieve highway congestion, improve air quality, reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, demonstrate the value of the extended ground transportation and passenger commuter services in eastern Connecticut, and provide improved passenger train service between New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
