AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC COMPANIES AND JOINT POWERS AUTHORITIES.
To (1) allow a municipality to establish a municipal electric company to provide electricity for residents of the municipality, and (2) establish a joint powers authority for the purpose of providing electrical supply, developing solar and battery projects and creating programs to encourage energy efficiency, electrical demand management and electric vehicle charger deployment.
