AN ACT CONCERNING DETENTION BY A POLICE OFFICER OF A PERSON WHO SUFFERED A NARCOTICS OVERDOSE.

To allow a police officer to take a person into custody when the officer has reasonable cause to believe such person suffered from a narcotics overdose that necessitates emergency medical intervention.
