AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR DIAGNOSTIC AND SCREENING COLONOSCOPIES.
To require individual and group health insurance policies to provide full health insurance coverage, without any out-of-pocket expense, for (1) diagnostic and screening colonoscopies, and (2) any necessary medical procedure preparation when recommended by a health care provider within such provider's scope of practice.
