AN ACT PERMITTING FAMILY MEMBERS TO PETITION FOR MANDATORY ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT OF CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ABUSING DRUGS OR ALCOHOL.
To allow a family member to petition the courts for mandatory assessment and treatment of an individual twenty-five years of age or younger who is abusing drugs or alcohol and appears to be a danger to himself or herself or others.
