AN ACT CONCERNING TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC UTILITIES AND ESTABLISHING THE MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC UTILITY INVESTMENT FUND.
To (1) create an office within the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to provide technical and operational support for any municipality that has established or seeks to establish a municipal electric utility, and (2) establish the Municipal Utility Investment Fund to provide grants or low-interest loans to municipalities that seek to acquire, build, expand or improve municipal electric utility infrastructure.
