AN ACT CONCERNING THE FALLEN HERO FUND AND PROVIDING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE TO SURVIVORS OF FIRST RESPONDERS WHO ARE KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY.
To (1) establish that the surviving family of a firefighter killed in the line of duty shall be paid a death benefit from the Fallen Officer Fund, (2) rename such fund the "Fallen Officer and Firefighter Fund", and (3) provide health insurance coverage to the survivors of a firefighter killed in the line of duty.
