AN ACT PROHIBITING ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES FROM COLLECTING FEES OTHER THAN FEES FOR THE PURCHASE OR DELIVERY OF ELECTRICITY.
To prohibit electric distribution companies from collecting fees other than fees for the purchase or delivery of electricity and to establish a private cause of action under the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act against electric distribution companies that charge unlawful fees.
