AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH CARRIERS TO DISCLOSE CERTAIN INFORMATION TO CONSUMERS.
To require any health carrier to provide certain information to consumers on such health carrier's Internet web site and on such consumers' policy documents, including information identifying how premium dollars are spent, claim denial rates and an explanation of costs for medical treatment, administrative expenses, profits and other expenses, to guide consumers in choosing a health carrier.
