"AN ACT CONCERNING FIREARMS IN STATE PARKS."

In line 5, after the period, insert the following: "Any person who holds such a valid permit and who carries such pistol or revolver in a state park shall present such permit to any conservation officer, special conservation officer, patrolman appointed pursuant to section 26-5 of the general statutes or police officer, as defined in section 7-294a of the general statutes, upon request."

After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:

"Sec. 501. Section 29-28 of the general statutes is amended by adding subsection (g) as follows (Effective from passage):

(NEW) (g) Any person issued a permit to carry a pistol or revolver pursuant to this section shall present such permit to any police officer, as defined in section 7-294a, conservation officer, special conservation officer, or patrolman appointed pursuant to section 26-5, upon request."

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
