Explanation

This amendment excludes certain maple syrup and honey manufacturers as food manufacturing establishments and results in a potential minimal revenue loss to the state to the extent that fewer licenses are issued. The fee for a food manufacturing establishment license is $20 and there were approximately 300 food manufacturing establishment licenses issued in FY 17.
