OFA Fiscal Note
The amendment will result in a net savings to the state by allowing a state employee's pension to be revoked if the employee is convicted or pleads guilty or nolo contendere in state court to sexual assault or aggravated sexual assault while on duty. The savings is anticipated to be minimal compared to the size of the state's retirement systems.
