OFA Fiscal Note
The amendment: 1) makes an adjustment to the exceptions to the bill's prohibition against asking about a prospective employee's wage and salary history, 2) eliminates the provision of the bill that allows an employer to limit its damages from alleged violations under certain circumstances, and 3) eliminates the provision of the bill pertaining to seniority systems in certain gender wage discrimination lawsuits. This does not result in any fiscal impact to the state or municipalities.
