The amendment increases, from 4% to 6%, the percentage of Class I renewables that may be considered for solicitation for energy procurement.
This may result in an increase in electric rates, to the extent any increase is allowed under the non-bypassable fully reconciling component of electric rates. Any increase would anticipate being minimal to the state and municipalities as ratepayers.
