Explanation

The bill is anticipated to result in a minimal revenue gain, as it allows the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) to set fees for expediting licenses or permits through a pilot program. DEEP would be anticipated to use its authority for this purpose.

House “A” removes the provision requiring DEEP to make best efforts to make a final determination on complete permit applications within 90 days, which has no fiscal impact.
