(Gavel) The House of Representatives is now in session. Will all members and guests please rise and direct your attention to our guest Chaplain, Henry J. Anderson of Fairfield.

GUEST CHAPLAIN HENRY J. ANDERSON:

Let us pray. Lord, make us worthy of the trust of those who are depending on us. We look to you for guidance and making decisions and the will to take appropriate action. Amen.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY VAHEY (133RD):

Charlie D. Anderson and Trevor D. and Dylan W. Roberts of Chaplin and Charlie's from Fairfield will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Yes, Madam Speaker. The Clerk has a list of favorable reports. There is a House Joint Resolution and House Bills to be tabled for the Calendar and printing.

REP. BOYD (5OTH):

Good morning Madam Speaker. It is my firm belief that we need more Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in this Capitol. With that I move that waive the reading of the favorable House report and the Bills of the resolution be tabled for Calendar and printing.

Is there objection? Hearing no objection, it is so ordered.

CLERK:

Also Madam Speaker, there is a favorable report of the House Standing Committee on Government Administration and Elections, Senate Bill No. 582, An Act PROHIBITING INDEPENDENT EXPENDITURES BY FOREIGN-INFLUENCED BUSINESS ENTITIES AND LIMITING COVERED TRANSFERS to be tabled for the Calendar and printing.

Tabled for the Calendar and printing.

Finally, Madam Speaker. The Clerk has a list of referrals in accordance with House Rule 20(e), a written expression of agreement between the Majority Leader and the Minority Leader is in the procession of the Clerk.

REP. BOYD (50TH):

Madam Speaker, I move that we waive the reading of the list of referrals as stipulated by the Majority Leader and the Minority Leader and that the Bills be referred to the Committees indicated.
