SPEAKER RYAN (139TH):

(Gavel) The House of Representatives is now in session. Will all members and guests please rise and direct your attention to our guest Chaplain, Savannah K. Roach of Charlotte, North Carolina.

GUEST CHAPLAIN SAVANNAH K. ROACH:

Let us pray. Lord, we are so thankful for the many blessings that you have bestowed upon your people. May the presence of your Holy Spirit rest on our hearts as you guide us to make the right decisions for this State. Amen.

SPEAKER RYAN (139TH):

If you want to come in and sit down, we'll wait a second. I will now ask Luke Martin of Chesterfield, Virginia to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

LUKE P. MARTIN:

(All) I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

SPEAKER RYAN (139TH):

Thank you very much. Is there any business on the Clerk's desk?

CLERK:

Yes, Mr. Speaker. The Clerk has a list of Favorable Reports, House Joint Resolutions and House Bills to be tabled for the calendar and printing.

SPEAKER RYAN (139TH):

Mr. Speaker -- I'm sorry, the Chair recognizes Representative Albis of East Haven, I'm sorry.

REP. ALBIS (99TH):

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. You're doing a fine job up there. Mr. Speaker, I move that we waive the reading of the House Favorable Reports and the Bills and Resolutions be tabled for the calendar and printing.

SPEAKER RYAN (139TH):

Is there any objection? Is there any objection? Hearing no objection, so ordered.

CLERK:

Also Mr. Speaker, the Clerk has list of Bills, number 51, as corrected dated April 6, 2017.

SPEAKER RYAN (139TH):

The Chair once again recognizes Representative Albis of the 99th District.

REP. ALBIS (99TH):

Thank you for your articulation Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, I move that we waive the reading of the list of Bills as corrected and the Bills be referred to the Committees indicated.

SPEAKER RYAN (139TH):

Is there objection? Is there objection? No objection, so ordered.

CLERK:

Mr. Speaker, there is no further business on the Clerk's desk.

SPEAKER RYAN (139TH):

The Chair finally, for the last time recognizes Representative Albis of the 99th District.

REP. ALBIS (99TH):

I doubt it will be the last time Mr. Speaker, but it may be for today. There being no further business on the Clerk's desk, I move that we adjourn subject to the Call of the Chair.

SPEAKER RYAN (139TH):

Is there objection? Is there objection? Hearing no objection, the House stands adjourned subject to the Call of the Chair. (Gavel)
