(Gavel) The House of Representatives is now in session. Will all members and guests please rise and direct your attention to our guest Chaplain, Mary Alice Hughes of Haddam.

GUEST CHAPLAIN MARY ALICE HUGHES:

Let us pray. Heavenly Father, may we understand that through You all things are possible. Though our tasks may seem enormous, with your help, we shall achieve our goals. Amen.

Mary Alice Hughes of Haddam will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Yes, Mr. Speaker. The Clerk has communication from the Speaker from the House of Representatives concerning Leadership Appointment. This Appointment, Mr. Speaker is Michelle Cook as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representative.

SPEAKER MORIN (28TH):

That item is ordered, printed in the journal.

CLERK:

Also Mr. Speaker, the Clerk has business from the Senate. A list of Senate favorable changes of reference to referred to the Committees indicated.

SPEAKER MORIN (28TH):

The Chair recognizes Representative DiMassa.

REP. DIMASSA (116TH):

Thank you Mr. Speaker. I move that we waive the reading of the list of Senate favorable changes of reference and that the Bills be referred to the Committees indicated.

Is there objection? Hearing no objection, it is ordered.

Also Mr. Speaker, the Clerk has a referral in accordance for House Bill No. 20, subsection E a written expression of agreement between the Majority Leader the Minority Leader is in the possession of the Clerk.

Thank you Mr. Speaker. I would move that Substitute House Bill No. 7021 Calendar No. 57B refer to the Committee on Transportation pursuant to House Rule 20E.
