SPEAKER BOYD (50TH):

(Gavel) The House of Representatives will come to session. Will members and guests direct your attention here, and our Guest Chaplain, Mary, from Trinity College will lead us in our prayer.

GUEST CHAPLAIN MARY E. TURSI:

Let us pray. Lord, there are many concerns and challenges before us in these difficult economic times. Guide us in our deliberations so that we may serve our people well. Amen.

SPEAKER BOYD (50TH):

And I'll ask Mary again to join us and lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

GUEST CHAPLAIN MARY E. TURSI:

(All) I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

SPEAKER BOYD (50TH):

Thank you. Is there any business on the Clerk's desk?

CLERK:

Yes, Mr. Speaker. The Clerk has a list of favorable reports, House Joint Resolutions to be tabled for the Calendar.

SPEAKER BOYD (50TH):

The Chair recognizes Mr. Elliot of the 88th.

REP. ELLIOT (88TH):

Thank you. Mr. Speaker, I move that we waive the reading of the list of resolutions and the resolutions be tabled for the Calendar.

SPEAKER BOYD (50TH):

Is there any objection? Hearing none, it is so ordered.

CLERK:

Finally, Mr. Speaker, the Clerk has a list of bills, number 21, dated February 3, 2017.

SPEAKER BOYD (50TH):

Mr. Elliot.

REP. ELLIOT (88TH):

Mr. Speaker, I move that we waive the reading of the list of bills and the bills be referred to the committees indicated.

SPEAKER BOYD (50TH):

Is there an objection? Hearing none, so ordered.

Mr. Speaker, there is no further business on the Clerk's desk.

Mr. Speaker, there being no further business on the Clerk's desk, I move that we adjourn, subject to the Call of the Chair.
