'AN ACT CONCERNING AN INVENTORY OF THE STATE'S BIOSCIENCE EDUCATION PIPELINE', to require Department of Economic and Community Development, in collaboration with Connecticut Innovations, Incorporated, the Department of Education, the Board of Regents for Higher Education and The University of Connecticut, to conduct an inventory of the educational resources available in the state to prepare students for careers in the bioscience field.

'AN ACT CONCERNING STATE HISTORICAL MUSEUMS, THE SUBMISSION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT EVALUATIONS TO STATE AGENCIES AND THE RELOCATION OF BUSINESSES RECEIVING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE STATE', to (1) include in statute all four current state historical museums, (2) require the submission of environmental impact statements to the Department of Economic and Community Development for comment and reviews, and (3) redefine "relocate" for purposes of determining when a business receiving financial assistance from the Department of Economic and Community Development and Connecticut Innovations, Incorporated is required to repay such assistance to the state.

S.B. No. 962 (RAISED) COMMERCE. 'AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEVELOPMENT OF EVALUATIVE METRICS FOR BIOSCIENCE INVESTMENTS IN THE STATE', to require Connecticut Innovations, Incorporated to contract with a private vendor to develop metrics to evaluate the state's investments in bioscience.

'AN ACT CONCERNING EDUCATIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES RELATING TO MANUFACTURING', to (1) decrease the number of years of employment experience an applicant seeking teacher certification for a position at a technical high school shall complete from eight years to five years, (2) require the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection to adopt regulations consistent with the federal Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule, (3) require the Board of Regents for Higher Education to develop a plan to offer certain manufacturing related courses across the state, and (4) establish a task force to develop a program to train inmates for jobs in the manufacturing field.

'AN ACT CONCERNING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT', to (1) require reporting by the Department of Economic and Community Development and legislative approval to continue the first five plus program, (2) require legislative approval of state investments under the urban and industrial sites program that exceed twenty million dollars, and (3) establish as part of the small business express program a loan guarantee and short-term bridge loan fund developed in consultation with private sector lenders.

'AN ACT CONCERNING ONLINE MULTIJURISDICTIONAL LOTTERY GAMES', to (1) authorize the Connecticut Lottery Corporation to offer online multijurisdictional lottery games, (2) exempt certain records concerning the corporation's voluntary self-exclusion process from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act, and (3) increase the corporation's contribution to the chronic gamblers treatment rehabilitation account.
