"AN ACT CONCERNING THE REGULATION OF GAMING AND THE AUTHORIZATION OF A CASINO GAMING FACILITY IN THE STATE. "

Strike subsection (c) of section 15 in its entirety and substitute the following in lieu thereof:

"(c) Not later than thirty days after the date the casino gaming facility is operational and on a monthly basis thereafter while such casino gaming facility is operational, MMCT Venture, LLC, shall pay to the state: (1) Ten per cent of the gross gaming revenue from the operation of authorized games, except video facsimile games, which shall be deposited in the state-wide tourism marketing account, established pursuant to section 10-395a of the general statutes; (2) fifteen per cent of the gross gaming revenue from the operation of authorized games, except video facsimile games, which shall be deposited in the General Fund; (3) twenty-five per cent of the gross gaming revenue from the operation of video facsimile games, which shall be deposited as follows: (A) Four million five hundred thousand dollars annually in the municipal gaming account, established pursuant to section 16 of this act, and (B) any remaining amounts in the General Fund; and (4) five per cent of the gross gaming revenue received by the casino gaming facility, which shall be deposited in the casino mitigation account, established pursuant to section 501 of this act. "

After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:

"Sec. 501. (NEW) (Effective from passage) There is established an account to be known as the "casino mitigation account" which shall be a separate, nonlapsing account within the General Fund. The account shall contain any moneys required by law to be deposited in the account. Moneys in the account shall be expended by the Office of Policy and Management for the purpose of providing financial support to the off-track betting branch facilities authorized pursuant to section 12-571a of the general statutes. "

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
