The House of Representatives was called to order at 11:50 o'clock a.m., Representative Berger of the 73rd District in the Chair.

Prayer was offered by the guest Chaplain, Aiden R. Smith, a 5th grade student at Hindley Elementary School in Darien, Connecticut.

The following is the prayer:

Let us pray. Almighty Father, shower Your blessing upon us as we begin a new day of labors for the people we serve. Be with us in our deliberations and make us prudent in our decisions. Amen.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Grace E. Jones, a 5th grade student at Hindley Elementary School in Darien, Connecticut.
