The House of Representatives was called to order at 11:31 o'clock a.m., Representative Johnson of the 49th District in the Chair.

Prayer was offered by the guest Chaplain, Mary Alice Hughes of Haddam, Connecticut.

The following is the prayer:

Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we come together today to pray for all in our Assembly who serve our State so faithfully. May Your special blessing of wisdom and counsel strengthen their minds, hearts and wills, so they may continue to fulfill their duties and obligations. Amen.
