The House of Representatives was called to order at 11:30 o'clock a.m., Representative Winkler of the 56th District in the Chair.

Prayer was offered by the guest Chaplain, Mary Alice Hughes of Haddam, Connecticut.

The following is the prayer:

Let us pray. Lord, as we witness the beauty and rebirth of all living things during this season of Spring, help us to work toward preserving the natural beauty which abounds in the State of Connecticut so that future generations might also enjoy it. Amen.
