H.B. No. 5528 (COMM) GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION AND ELECTIONS. 'AN ACT CONCERNING CERTAIN CANDIDATES FOR THE OFFICE OF REGISTRAR OF VOTERS AT REGULAR ELECTIONS', to permit a deputy registrar of voters who is running for the office of registrar of voters to perform his or her official duties in a polling place at a regular election.

H.B. No. 5530 (COMM) GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION AND ELECTIONS. 'AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTION DAY REGISTRATION LOCATIONS AND ACCESS TO THE STATE-WIDE CENTRALIZED VOTER REGISTRATION SYSTEM', to require that access to the state-wide centralized voter registration system at election day registration locations is only through a router owned by the state and issued for such purpose.

H.B. No. 5589 (COMM) GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION AND ELECTIONS. 'AN ACT CONCERNING CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM', to (1) create bright lines between coordinated and independent spending, (2) address in statute independent expenditure political committees, (3) increase disclosure of sources of funds used for independent expenditures, (4) require board of governance authorization before certain entities make certain campaign-related disbursements of funds and disclosure of such disbursements to shareholders, (5) prohibit independent expenditures or covered transfers by foreign-influenced entities, and (6) impose limits on covered transfers.

H.B. No. 6155 (COMM) GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION AND ELECTIONS. 'AN ACT AUTHORIZING DEEMED STATUS LICENSE RENEWALS FOR CERTAIN NONPROFIT COMMUNITY SERVICE PROVIDERS', to reduce costs for nonprofit providers by providing a means for them to forgo duplicative state licensing requirements for certain license and certificate renewals if they are accredited by an accepted national accrediting body that has requirements more stringent than the state's.

PUBLIC HEALTH

H.B. No. 6482 (COMM) PUBLIC HEALTH. 'AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONNECTICUT TRAUMA ADVISORY COMMITTEE', to establish the Connecticut Trauma Committee as a standing committee that provides advice and comment to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board regarding the most common trauma types and the affected patient population.

GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION AND ELECTIONS

H.B. No. 6575 (COMM) GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION AND ELECTIONS. 'AN ACT CONCERNING DISCLOSURE OF PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES' FEDERAL TAX RETURNS', to require that such candidate nominated by a political party for President or Vice President of the United States publicly disclose his or her federal tax returns for the three years immediately preceding the election for which such candidate is nominated in order for the state's electors for President and Vice President of such political party to appear on the ballot for such election.

H.B. No. 6576 (COMM) GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION AND ELECTIONS. 'AN ACT REQUIRING ADDITIONAL POLLING PLACES AT INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION DURING STATE ELECTIONS', to require (1) any municipality containing an institution of higher education to establish a separate voting district at such institution if such institution reports certain data to the United States Department of Education for the year prior to the election, and (2) the registrars of voters or the legislative body of such municipality, as the case may be, to provide a suitable polling place at such institution for which a separate voting district is established.

S.B. No. 38 (COMM) PUBLIC HEALTH. 'AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROVISION OF SERVICES TO PERSONS WITH AN INTELLECTUAL OR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY', to prevent disruption of services to persons with an intellectual or developmental disability.

S.B. No. 39 (COMM) PUBLIC HEALTH. 'AN ACT CONCERNING A PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP TO PROVIDE QUALITY SUPPORT AND SERVICES FOR PERSONS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES', to provide preference for respite care services, skills training and an array of support services to those persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have the most need for such services.

S.B. No. 246 (COMM) PUBLIC HEALTH. 'AN ACT CONCERNING A STATE-WIDE WAITING LIST FOR RESIDENTIAL PLACEMENT FOR PERSONS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES', to better serve persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities by developing a state-wide comprehensive residential waiting list.
