The House of Representatives was called to order at 11:30 o'clock a.m., Representative Perone of the 137th District in the Chair.

Prayer was offered by the guest Chaplain, Kerri E. Malloy of Wethersfield, Connecticut.

The following is the prayer:

Let us pray. Almighty God, who presides over all things in heaven and on earth, graciously hear the prayers of this Body and grant us Your peace all the days of our lives. Amen.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Kerri E. Malloy of Wethersfield, Connecticut.

INTRODUCTION OF SENATE BILL

On motion of Representative de la Cruz of the 41st District, the first reading of the following bill was waived, the list of bills as prepared by the Clerks was accepted, and the bill referred to the committee as indicated thereon in concurrence.

PUBLIC SAFETY AND SECURITY

S.B. No. 806 (RAISED) PUBLIC SAFETY AND SECURITY. 'AN ACT ALLOWING MUNICIPALITIES TO ESTABLISH A GRANT PROGRAM TO REPLACE OR REPAIR CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS', to authorize municipalities to establish a program to provide grants to eligible owners of residential buildings for the purposes of repairing or replacing the faulty or failing concrete foundations of such residential buildings and to fund such program by issuing bonds and accepting donations.
