Prayer was offered by the guest Chaplain, Kerri E. Malloy of Wethersfield, Connecticut.

Let us pray. Lord, listen to the prayers of Your people today as we tend to the business of the State. There are many issues that need our attention, be with us as we discuss them. Amen.

H.B. No. 6980 (RAISED) PUBLIC HEALTH. 'AN ACT CONCERNING ART THERAPISTS', to require persons seeking certification as an art therapist to have earned a graduate degree in art therapy.
