The amendment eliminates the fiscal impact on the underlying bill by eliminating modifications to the Small Business Express Program.

The amendment instead requires the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) to review the application process for the Small Business Express program to facilitate the participation of physicians and physician's offices in the program. There is no fiscal impact to this provision.

It is anticipated that DECD, as the administrator of Small Business Express, can review the program without any additional resources.
