Explanation

The amendment allows the Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, for FY 17, to be eligible for a full-time interdistrict magnet school grant. This results in a cost to the State Department of Education and a corresponding revenue gain to the town of Norwalk. The amount of the grant is indeterminate, and depends upon the number of eligible students.
