OFA Fiscal Note
NO FISCAL IMPACT
The amendment has no fiscal impact by replacing the Office of Protection and Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities (OPA) with Disabilities Rights Connecticut Inc., a nonprofit organization, from the list of state agencies that the Department of Housing may consult to complete the study in the underlying bill. The OPA is abolished effective July 1, 2017 pursuant to PA 16-66.
The amendment also has no fiscal impact by extending by two months the date by which the Department of Housing must report the results of the study.
